Using LoggerPro 3.1

Experiment Menu

The experiment menu provides access to the features used to set-up and control experiments using the LabPro interface. Options from this menu include:

  • Start Collection - begin the collection of data from the LabPro interface
  • Store Latest Run - saves the most recently collected data so that it can be accessed later
  • Clear Latest Run - deletes most recently collected data without saving
  • Keep - store one data point at a time when collecting discrete rather than continuous data
  • Extend Collection - increases the collection time by an additional 30%
  • Connect Interface - connects LoggerPro to the LabPro interface by specifying the port to use
  • Show Sensors - indicate which sensors are connected to the LabPro interface
  • Data Collection - set the experimental conditions for collecting data
  • Remote - prepares the LabPro interface for remote data collection (for field work without a PC)
  • Calibrate - manually calibrate the sensor(s) connected to LabPro interface
  • Save Calibration - save any manual calibrations
  • Zero - resets the value reported by a sensor to zero
  • Heat - not relevant to our system
