Immersive opportunities abound

AHA Segovia is committed to maintaining a small program size with an outstanding 5:1 student-professor ratio. As one of two study abroad programs located in the city, students have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in local culture and explore friendships with Segovians without constantly bumping into other Americans. Students participate in intercambiuos, language partners, with local university students.

family

Safe, accomodating environment

Living with host families provides students with a support system and cultural opportunity that students living in dorms or apartment struggle to obtain. The families, as well as the safety of Segovia, provide an optimal setting for students to live, learn, and explore. The AHA school has its own student library equipped with computers and wireless internet and the local library is located across from the school. Many students also enjoying studying in the many local cafes.

Did you say internships?

The staff at AHA loves to find internship opportunities for students seeking university internship credit. Current internships include the Office of Tourism and the Museum of Contemporary Art. An internship is a great way to build your resumé, improve your fluency, and meet lots of interesting Segovians. And if you think it couldn't get better than that, these are paid internships, too!
