DUAMOP
DePauw University Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics
DUAMOP is my research program exploring atomic, molecular and optical physics (as well as a play on the American Physical Society's division for study of AMO physics, DAMOP). The current research focus is on the possible uses of entangled photon pairs in atomic and molecular spectroscopy, especially a theoretical proposal called Virtual State Spectroscopy. We are assessing the feasibility of an experimental demonstration of the principles underlying this technique in an alkali metal, and if the results are favorable plan to proceed to a full demonstration. See Projects for more details.
