Education

I received my Bachelor's degree in Political Science (honors) and History from Bihar University in India, my Master's degrees in Political Science from Bihar University and the University of Chicago, and my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago. 

Before starting my Ph.D. program I received advanced graduate training in International Relations at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi.

My teachers at the University of Chicago included David Easton and
Joseph Cropsey in political theory; Lloyd and Susanne Rudolph, Philip
Schmitter, Leonard Binder, Adam Przeworski, and Tang Tsou in comparative politics; and Charles Lipson and Morton Kaplan in international relations.
